A PRE WORLD WAR ONE PRUSSIAN CAVALRY OFFICER'S SABRE,
circa 1910, with 32in. curved and plated blade with broad blind fuller and etched with martial trophies around a central eagle device, the banner beneath reading 'MITT GOTT FUR KAISER UND REICH', the reverse with a bust of the Kaiser, broad langets to hilt, the front carved with crossed sabres, turned down lionshead quillion, carved 'P' shaped knucklebow, wire-bound sharkskin grip with lionshead pommel inlet with red glass eyes, complete with its black painted iron scabbard (some powdery tarnish to blade), together with a green and silver wire bullion portapee knot
